Since establishing herself as a main christian music artist during the last couple of years since her major label debut, Britt Nicole offers her new follow-up project, "The Lost Get Found," releasing August 11th. Featuring the hit title track, the album showcases her trademark pop style, and catchy, hook-laden songwriting that has set apart from many other recent newcomers. Ranging from the brisk, hip/hop moments of "Welcome to the Show", to mid-tempo ballads such as "Safe" or "Feel Your Light", The Lost Get Found will give fans what they are looking for, and even more as she matures her sound and style. "How We Role" is another tight pop tune, and will soon be a listener favorite, while the nearly acoustic, "Have Your Way" is another stand-out, and proves she is not only capable of made-for-radio tunes, but actually finds lyrical depth in this final piece. Though her major label debut, "Say It", was supposed to be overall a good disc, with this album she has created a message, and one modern christians need to recieve. "The Lost Get Found is simply about being who we are called to be as Christians, and through that, seeing the lost get found. " says Britt when talking about her new album. "I believe that when we become who we are called to be, the lost will come to know God. They will see that God is real, and that His love is greater than any problem, any fear, any sickness." Good words, but is the music all that great? Well, I'll put it this way. If you enjoy Top 40 style pop, combined with faith based content, you've probably got the perfect product, and one that you will enjoy and will hopefully build you up as a believer. ~ Christian Lingner
