Rush of Fools is a very fortunate band, and for a reason. Founded in Atlanta Georgia, they traveled to Nashville for a Christian Band Competition, won it, got a record deal and released their self-titled debut in May 2007. To top things off, their first single "Undo" was a number one hit on CHR for five consecutive weeks. So how was the album? Well, not suprisingly, quite impressive. The CD features "Undo," which we mentioned before, a song explicity based on the prodigal songs parable, and "When Our Hearts Sing" which ended up the 7th most played song on Christiain Radio in 2007. While some of the songs venture into a more pop/rock style, Rush of Fools finds their place in contemporary worship, especially on tracks like "All We Ever Needed" and "For Those," which I could easily see played in churches across America. So while this band is still finding their style, they already have a good start and clearly have a great future, with lot's more music to come! ~ Christian Lingner
