Wonder of the World - Rush of Fools

Nearly 1 1/2 years after their successful debut, Rush of Fools returns with their sophomore project, "Wonder of the Wonder," a much matured band.  Sounding somewhat like Tenth Avenue North meets Fee, their praiseful style dominates this album, and will relate to listeners on a personal level.  The CD features the hit songs "Lose it All" and the title track, with soaring choruses and a pop/rock feel, these radio-friendly tunes create the foundation for this extrodinary disc.  "Holy One" and "Tonight," are both acoustically driven songs, and pass from the good to great mark with superior songwriting and passionate vocals from lead singer Wes Willis.  Other highlights include "Freedom Begins Here" and the anchor, "Never Far Away," which is based on their struggles and trials of being on tour so much of the time.  So Rush of Fools opts not follow the footsteps of so many other young bands, and creates an impressive follow-up album, which will meet happy fans and ready new ones for the second time around. ~ Christian Lingner
